Mine camp: big, inside fence, houses, on-suite bathrooms, anonymous, (drunken) expats, one canteen for all staff, gym, pool, supermarket, running and biking possibilities...
Exploration camp: small, outside fence, containers, shared facilities, friendly, familiar, less expats, one canteen on the camp (eating with the rest of the team), playing soccer with the other geologists/geotechs in the evening, chatting with the kitchen crew, running and biking possibilities...
They both have their (dis)advantages. I absolutely enjoyed working and living at the exploration camp this past week! :)
