Well, it is winter in Switzerland. It has snowed heaps, everything is covered with a powdery white snow layer, air has been chilled below freezing for days... In Zurich, the streets are white due to humongous amounts of salt. The Alps leave you speechless!

Therefore, lots of skiing is being done. The past w/e, we did a small backcountry ski tour up to Wissmilen.

Hi there
ReplyDeleteJust enjoyed reading your recent posts - must get to Switzerland again - last time we had too much rain so headed to Sardinia instead!
The volcanic areas of Italy look good too and the Dolomites have always been on my list. Reckon I will be in Europe Autumn 2012 onwards all being well. Take care and keep in touch.

Simon!
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll be fit to pick up traveling soon! If you happen to come to Central Europe, let me know! I might be traveling myself or studying in Zurich... usually semi-spontaneous plans can be squeezed in somewhere in between!:)
Cheers,
Anina
