Flying out. The usual. Delay at Loulo. Small plane. Chatting to people at the airport. Luckily, I flew out with a Philippine guy I had flown out before and it was great to catch up.
I know this might seem to get boring for some people but I can't repeat this enough. Being in the middle of the rainy season, this part of Mali turns from dry, dusty, red to green and lush forest and grasslands! It is absolutely stunning! Climate-wise I don't like the humidity that comes with the heat too much. But the scenery is well worth the suffering!
