A full week was spent sailing the Mediterranean Sea between Follonica, Elba and Capraia. The train journey there and back proved to be quite entertaining chitchatting, reading, enjoying the view etc. We lucked out on some good wind and sunshine for the week. We sailed from the mainland towards the island of Elba continuing towards Capraia and back to Elba. Circling Elba once, we stayed a full day in the harbor of Portoferraio before heading back to the mainland. Working the boat kept as occupied as did fishing (yes, we caught a tuna on our last day!) or cooking on the tilted boat whilst sailing. One evening, we even ventured in the water for a short swim. Overall, a very welcome change of scenery. It was great being on the move again - with a change of perspective for once.
