Senegal

I expected to spend a colorful warm spring day in Paris. Didn't happen because it was still snowing... Nonetheless, I wandered the streets taking in every single minute of Europe.
Hours later I arrived in Dakar. Surprisingly cool but very agreeable with a strong wind coming in from the sea. I went for a walk out to Pointe des Almadies again. This time the waves were crashing on the rocks and along the shoreline. What a view!
Getting my visa extension took one day. Thereafter, it was another day on the road. Salt lakes at Kaolack. Baobab trees in all different sizes. From modern-like cities to small-scale towns to rural villages. From the Senegal to Mali.
