Election Day

Today elections for a new president were held in Mali. The event passed very quietly. Equally quiet has the camp been because all the Malians left to e.g. Bamako to vote. There are 27 candidates running for president and the results will be made public during the upcoming days.
Work. Great socializing time with the South Africans, cycling... The usual.

When cycling, we came past old Faraba village. People from the village had to be relocated because the huts are within the blasting perimeter. Nonetheless, the huts and the sacred fig tree still exist.
