An annual event with the SEG Student Chapter: GOLD panning in the Swiss Alps. As usual we found ourselves a campsite right next to an Alpine creek supposedly carrying placer gold... We weren't exceedingly rich after the w/e but we certainly had tons of fun spending a hours looking for tiny gold flakes and hanging out in the sunny and chilly Alpine fall.
